September 19, 2016 – William Robson, President and CEO of the C.D. Howe Institute, announces the appointment of Dr. Jennifer Zelmer, President of Azimuth Health Group, as a Research Fellow effective June 1, 2016. 

“Jennifer brings tremendous expertise in health policy bolstered by her domestic and international experiences in the sector,” said Robson. “The C.D. Howe Institute is enthusiastic about collaborating with her.”

Dr. Zelmer serves as Editor-in-Chief of Healthcare Policy and is an Adjunct Faculty Member at the University of Victoria in addition to her work with Azimuth Health Group.  Prior to joining Azimuth Health Group, Dr. Zelmer served as Executive Vice President at Canada Health Infoway and was Chief Executive Officer of the International Health Terminology Standards Development Organization.  Dr. Zelmer received her PhD and MA in economics from McMaster University.
