November 21, 2013 - Annual Benefactors' Lecture and Dinner - The Economy is in Limbo: What Happens When Rates - and Returns - Stay So Low, For So Long?

The Institute was please to present Dean Connor, President and CEO of Sun Life Financial; Don Coxe, Chairman of Coxe Advisors LLP; and Gerry McCaughey, President and CEO of CIBC at our Annual Benefactors' Lecture and Dinner. Our expert panel examined what expected returns mean for capital and portfolio investment decisions and valuations of long term liabilities.

The Benefactors' Dinner recognizes the C.D. Howe Institute's individual members and donors. Without their generous support, the Institute would not be able to pursue its mission of raising living standards by fostering economically sound public policies. The Institute would like to thank Briar Foster, John and Rebecca Horwood, and other outstanding individuals for their contributions.
