Value-based healthcare, a delivery model based on patient outcomes, has the potential to transform the Canadian healthcare system. It can improve efficiencies, eradicate waste, and enhance patient experience. Although value-based healthcare pilot projects have proven to be effective, there are still challenges in scaling and adopting them.
