Polina joined the Institute in 2016 as an Event Planner and became a Special Projects Planner in 2018. She is responsible for coordinating the logistics, marketing strategy, and communication with speakers and attendees for some of the Institute’s most complex projects and high-profile events. Prior to joining the Institute, Polina interned at a large healthcare marketing firm and the Heart and Stroke Foundation. Polina holds a Certified Meeting Professional (CMP) certification from the Events Industry Council, an advanced diploma in Business Administration – Project Management from George Brown College, and is currently enrolled in a the Business Management – Marketing program at Ryerson University’s Ted Rogers School of Management. Arriving in Canada on her own at the age of 16, Polina is passionate about immigration policy and the economic advantages that Canada can obtain from it.
