April 8, 2019 - The Board Members and staff of the C.D. Howe Institute mourn the passing of Naseem Somani.
“Naseem was a passionate leader committed to good healthcare policy in Canada,” said William B.P. Robson, President and CEO. “She leaves a rich legacy, and all of us at the C.D. Howe Institute will miss her energy and insight.”
Ms. Somani was appointed to the Institute’s board of directors in May 2017. She served as the CEO of Dynacare Laboratories since 2005 and was a board member of the Ontario Association of Medical Laboratories.
The C.D. Howe Institute extends its condolences to her family, colleagues and friends.
