Small Packages, Big Bills - Why It’s So Hard to Get Goods Across the Canadian Border

Canada's de minimus Threshhold (DMT), which is the point at which goods travelling across the border will start carrying taxes and duties, is among the lowest in the world. It has not been updated in decades, even for inflation. How would raising this threshhold impact Canadians?
