Gary Edwards, Co-Founder & Research Lead, Golfdale Consulting

Dr. Gary Edwards is a seasoned market research leader and management consultant. As co-founder of Golfdale Consulting, Gary’s mission is to solve complex business challenges focused on three areas: global market research, data science and operational analytics, and evidence-based thought leadership strategies.

Gary’s experience includes advising executives of Fortune 1000 companies as co-owner and Chief Customer Officer of Empathica, a pioneering software company in Customer Experience Management. Prior to successfully expanding and selling Empathica to a global competitor, Gary served as Country Manager of Gallup Canada, leading strategic market insights and the brand’s rapid revenue growth in Canada.

Gary began his early career in research as an epidemiologist in the field of mental health. Gary has a Hon BA (Psych) from the University of Western Ontario, and an M.A. and PhD from Wilfrid Laurier University specializing in social research methods and statistics.

Rhonda Goldberg, Executive Vice-President and General Counsel, IGM Financial Inc.

Rhonda Goldberg is the Executive Vice-President, General Counsel for IGM Financial Inc., responsible for overseeing the legal, compliance, corporate secretary and regulatory affairs functions of Makenzie Investments and IG Wealth Management.

Rhonda brings an in-depth knowledge of the legal and regulatory environment and financial services industry with over 20 years of legal experience.  Prior to joining IGM Financial, she held progressively senior positions at the Ontario Securities Commission (OSC) and was a member of the OSC’s executive management team and Director, Investment Funds and Structured Products, from 2010-2015.

Rhonda currently is a member of the board of Wealthsimple and the Ombudsman for Banking Services and Investments (OBSI) and previously served as a member of the OSC’s Securities Advisory Committee.

Rhonda was called to the Bar in Ontario and has a law degree from Osgoode Hall Law School.

Judy Goldring, President and Head, Global Distribution, AGF Management Limited

Judy G. Goldring is President and Head of Global Distribution at AGF Management Limited, overseeing the execution of strategic plans in support of business priorities, counsels the CEO on business planning and provides direction for corporate initiatives. She also brings unified accountability to and fosters greater synergies across AGF’s respective sales distribution channels globally. In addition, she oversees the firm’s Human Resources function and is responsible for AGF’s Private Client businesses.

Judy is also a member of the Executive Management Team where she assists in the development and execution of AGF’s strategy. In addition, as a member of the Board of Directors for AGF Management Limited and AGF Mutual Funds, she provides strategic leadership and vision that promotes AGF’s long-term growth. Since joining AGF in 1998, Judy has held several roles with increasing responsibility. Prior to being named President, she served as Executive Vice-President and Chief Operating Officer. In this role, she demonstrated leadership in promoting and supporting the firm’s operational effectiveness.

She received a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from the University of Toronto and earned her Bachelor of Laws (LL.B) from Queen’s University. She is a member of the Law Society of Upper Canada and has been a member of the Canadian Bar Association since 1993. She received an Honorary Doctorate of Laws (LL.D) from the University of Toronto in 2019 and from Ontario Tech University in 2023. She is a successful graduate of the Competent Boards ESG Certificate Program in 2022.  In addition to her involvement in a number of charities, Judy is the Chair of the Investment Funds Institute of Canada. While also being a lead fundraiser in the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation's $100million Campaign to Accelerate, Judy is presently the Co-Chair of the "Defy Gravity" Campaign for Victoria University at the University of Toronto.

Elizabeth Mulholland, Chief Executive Officer, Prosper Canada

Elizabeth Mulholland is the Chief Executive Officer of Prosper Canada, a national charity dedicated to expanding economic opportunity for Canadians living in poverty through program and policy innovation. Elizabeth joined Prosper Canada in 2011, after a 25-year policy career in the public, private and non-profit sectors, including a decade of independent policy consulting, five years as senior social policy advisor in the Office of the Prime Minister, and five years directing United Ways of Ontario’s government relations program. Elizabeth holds a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Geology and French from Wellesley College and successfully completed McGill University’s Graduate Summer Program in Epidemiology and Biostatistics.
