Summary

Tingting Zhang is a Junior Policy Analyst at the C.D. Howe Institute. She has a B.Sc. in Economics from the University of Western Ontario, and an M.A. in Economics from McGill University. Her research interest focuses on social policy with a concentration on workforce development and women's economic empowerment.

Prior to joining the C.D. Howe Institute in June 2022, Tingting worked as a Labour Market Analyst at the Four County Labour Market Planning Board, which serves the Bruce, Grey, Huron and Perth counties in Southwestern Ontario. In that role, she has been providing evidence-based reports and advised on a range of economic development issues. Her volunteer work has included assisting with meals for the homeless, and fundraising for and planting native trees around London, Ontario. She is fluent in English and Mandarin.
